Oil on Canvas
From works in Philadelphia

Oils were my main medium since I was a kid. I remember getting one of those paint-by-number kits for Christmas when I was around 12. I couldn’t get over it. The smell of the paints and the texture just took me over. I painted with oils until I met a master water colorist, Chuck Schmidt, and learned his techniques. I have worked mostly in watercolor ever since. But I still love the smell of oils. 🙂
