I was starting to paint again, in 1989, and after doing a few drawings on paper, decided to start playing with oils. I did a few little paintings before this. Then decided to go bigger. the boxes took forever to do. But it was worth it.

Exhibited in the Exposicion de Mercados y Bodegones del Caribe, Super Marchante, Santo Domingo, 1992. (Framboyán is the Dominican name for the Royal Poinciana tree).
