Both Tom and I started out as artists. We went to art school together and our entire life revolved around art exhibits and art. We thought that is what we were going to do for the rest of our life, but, life is what happens while you're making plans. I became a designer and Tommy has been a professor for years. Having children changes everything, unless you are more egotistical than us. I had always done design and art at the same time. But, art, I did for myself, and design for others. Having Design full-time jobs didn't leave time or inspiration for painting. And, since I did it for myself, it was kind of a luxury. It was time I was taking away from my daughter. The years passed and here we are. We haven't done art in a while. We keep talking about it, but, things just keep getting in the way. We hope that now that our lives are entering our golden years, it will allow us more time for our art.
