In 1989 I lived in Mount Dora and had a studio Downtown. I started going in a different direction with checkers and geometric shapes. I did several paintings which did not survive the hectick lifestyle that followed. This is one of those paintings. I actually took them to the Dominican Republic and exhibited a few of them in the Exposición de Mercados y Bodegones del Caribe in Santo Domingo. Unfortunately, coming back to the USA some of them got lost.
