Flourless Chocolate Cake

I just found this recipe online and it is amazing. It takes 5 minutes to put together and 14 to bake. It doesn’t require a mixer. All you need is a spoon. I have to keep making it because it is so good that we crave it. I serve it with whipped cream or just chocolate syrup. Or just eat it by itself.

This rich and decadent chocolate keto cake is shockingly delicious and secretly low carb.

Flourless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fine almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp dutch cocoa or additional regular
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup water or milk of choice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup granulated erythritol or regular sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Tips

*For a double layer cake, simply double the recipe and bake in two 8-inch pans.

Flourless Chocolate CakeServed with whipped cream and garnished with berries  is the way to go. I don’t think it need a frosting.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Step 2

Grease an 8-inch pan, and line with parchment.  I’ve made it without it when I have run out and, if you grease the pan generously, it shouldn’t stick.

Step 3

Stir all ingredients together very well, then spread into the pan. If needed, use a second sheet of parchment to smooth down.

Step 4

Bake 14 minutes on the center rack (some ovens require more baking time, so continue cooking until firm if needed).

Step 5

Let cool completely. We don’t frost it, but you are welcome to.
